Melissa Gessling, DMD
Dr. Gessling was born in extremely rural Northeastern California. She moved to slightly-less-rural South-Central Montana as a young teen. In high school, she worked in her father’s dental office as a dental assistant and lab technician and decided to follow in his footsteps. She went to undergraduate school at Concordia College in Moorhead, a school that both her grandmother and great-grandmother attended.
After graduating, Dr. Gessling moved to Augusta, Georgia, where she continued her work as a lab technician at the dental school of Augusta University. It was there that she realized her passion for helping people and her technical skills could be combined into a great career. She graduated from the Medical College of Georgia and has been working as a general dentist since. She is passionate about life-long learning and continuously strives to learn something new in dentistry. Her passion for taking care of people comes through in all of her interactions with patients. She currently resides in Atlanta and enjoys reading, cooking, photography, and cycling.
